The Lizard Brain, Part II
(con't from Part I)
That voice in the back of your head is telling you, "what you're thinking about doing is too risky ... you're not cut out to do this ... you're not lucky enough, smart enough, rich enough ... you've got no business dabbling where you're going to fail ... think of the criticism, the shame, the embarrassment ..."
That's resistance, the voice of the lizard, yelling at you loud and clear, each and every day, to play it safe, telling you you're crazy if you don't.
Being a pro isn't making your living at something.
It's an attitude ... of doing the work that matters, no matter what.
That's exactly why you need to ignore this voice and do the opposite, which will be the right thing [See blog, Scarecrow].
You will amaze yourself, at what you will accomplish.
