This is the majestic IV/36 "Crawford Special" Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ, 348 stop tablets, of the fabulous Fox theatre in Saint Louis, Missouri, explained and played by acclaimed performer Jack Jenkins, one of two Organists and Director of Music of the Saint Louis Scottish Rite Cathedral.

The listener will note especially the tremendous versatility, range of color, and nostalgic 3D soundscapes these types of instruments were capable of producing from back in the days when going to a movie palace like this one was just as exciting as watching the film itself.

We very much thank brother Jenkins for making and posting this informative and fine educational demonstration for public viewing.
